'Strong' is a testament to how the boys have grown, and how the music has grown with them. Lyrically and musically, it's more mature, like the rest of the MM track list. At the same time though, it’s fun and up tempo, so I totally love to rock out to it!

Strong is an empowering song of a man confessing his love. It has such strong lyrics and is not like any other love song, for the man is able to admit he is all hers. He has no problem saying he cannot live without her, for she makes him strong.

‘Strong’ is a song bound to become a timeless classic. A potent rock influence mixed with the simple, yet effective and enchanting harmonies only the One Direction boys can perfect, the elements build up as the song progresses. You’ll find yourself singing ‘Strong’ hours after you listen to it.

I haven't heard a One Direction song that I didn't like, and "Strong" is no exception. The tune is catchy, and the lyrics are what every girl wants to hear, that she's needed. My favorite thing is the sincerity the boys express in every word. Honestly, I love this song!

'Strong' is proof of One Direction's lyrical capabilities and a display of how importantly their voices accentuate and compliment the words being sung. It communicates all those things we don't quite know how to say in a universally relatable way.
