Best Song Ever was the first song to be released on the Midnight Memories soundtrack. The 20 second intro acts as build up to the start of the song where Harry belts out the first lines and we get our first taste of the new album. It's super up beat and makes you want to get up and dance like a crazy person as one direction sing the lines " and we danced all night to the best song ever, we knew every line now I can't remember how it goes but I know that I won't forget her cause we danced all night to the best song ever. I think it went oh oh oh I think it went yeah yeah yeah."
It's a great song that encourages you to just have fun and forget about everything and just dance all night to the 'best song ever'. This song translates the importance of embracing life and remembering "how we danced” and just live in the moment and have fun with it. Don't even get me started on the genius music video that goes hand in hand with this amazing song. It wasn't until the end that I realised it was in fact Louis and Niall transformed into old men. While the song can be taken several different ways with multiple interpretations, it’s a fun, upbeat, pick me up song that can surely put a smile on anyone’s face as they dance around for 3 mins and 20 secs to the amazingness that is the "Best Song Ever" by the one and only One Direction.
