What a year it's been for One Direction! We've been looking back over the last twelve months over here at 1DHQ, and we can't believe the amount of things the boys have achieved!
First up – the release of 'Take Me Home' The boys’ second album managed to hit the number one spot in a massive 32 countries! Thank you to everyone who's bought it and made it such a massive success! The album has already produced two number one singles 'Live While We're Young' and 'Little Things’ – and a bunch of fab TV performances including Children In Need, The X Factor and The Royal Variety Performance (to name but a few!).
The boys also launched their very own Zappar powered app which unlocked behind the scenes videos and photos of the boys hidden in the Take Me Home Limited Edition picture book! Nifty, eh? An extra special Spotify app - 1D Music - was also launched, bringing you the boys’ own music playlists, as well as personal audio messages from each of the boys.
The year ended with Bring me to 1D, where Directioners were given the chance to win Go1Den Tickets allowing them to see the boys perform at New York's Madison Square Garden, AND spend a day hanging out with them. Exciting! It was a massive success, and if you haven't already, check out the mini-video series the boys have put together of the event!
2012 has been an amazing year for 1D, so thank you all for your support. 2013 is going to be even bigger, with the boys performing over 200 shows for their 2013 World Tour! If you haven't got your tickets yet, what are you waiting for?!
